The Red Arrow’s spraying system was developed for the rapidly growing pre-fried bacon industry. This system includes the spraying of Condensed Natural Smoke™ (sometimes referred to as "liquid smoke") onto bacon slices immediately prior to the bacon being pre-fried. This process provides the processor with the following advantages

  • Increase in #1 slices
  • Yield enhancements, with increased impact if the bacon is sold by the lb. with slices and bits.
  • Smoke flavor can be tightly controlled and easily adjusted
  • There are no labeling requirements due to it being a pre-fried application.
