Preparation

  1. Sauté the leeks and onions in half of the butter until the onions are translucent
  2. At the same time, make a roux with the remaining butter and flour.
  3. Add the shallots and sauté for 2 minutes.
  4. Add all of the ingredients (except the perma flo and a small amount of water) including the Red Arrow products.      
  5. Lightly simmer the soup about 30 minutes. Add the Perma flo and water mixture to thicken.
